" THE RALLY POINT "

Some of the readers of this page may not know what a Rally Point is and others may have forgotten.

It is a place determined in advance of an assault on an enemy position or other type of military action. It may be near a prominent terrain feature. The location is known to the individuals involved in the operation. It is a place to regroup and to reorganize for the next phase.

It can be as simple as one man shouting " Rally on Me " repeatedly in an emergency situation.

This " Rally Point " has been established for those former 40th Division Korean War Veterans who want to re-establish contact with those they served with.

If you don't wish to join the Association you may instead register with the Association. A separate database will be used to store the information you supply.

Your name, unit(s), month and year you left Korea, Nickname and comments will be posted on this web-site.

If you do not have an email address contact the Secretary at the address shown on the Rally Point Registrants Page.
