Pete had a hernia operation in St. Lucia at Tapion Hospital on May 19, 2000. Dr. Richardson performed the operation.
Recuperation time was spent at Rodney Bay Marina.
Four small islets make up the Tobago Cays. The reef around these islets is great for snorkeling.
While at the Tobago Cays I baked a coconut custard pie.
Grenada contains a protected harbor. But we did not anchor here. We achored in Mt. Hartman Bay on the southern end of the island. A chartered van ran every morning from Mt. Hartman Bay to St. George's. We often took the van to get groceries and use email.
Grenada is known as the spice island. Whole nutmeg is pictured in the plastic bags.
Pete and Sue enjoy the view in Grenada except that the sun was in our eyes.
We took and island tour of Grenada before we headed for Trinidad. Pat and Olivia Murphy were also on the tour and have been our cruising companions since St. Lucia. We will probably continue to cruise with them.
