Marquises  2001

(Return to the sailing adventures of La Boatique)

58 Inch Long King Mackeral

On April 2, our third day out, we caught a 58-inch long king mackerel. The fish fought long and hard trying to get unhooked. The mate of the large fish stayed right by the hooked fish while we fought to bring the fish aboard.  The mate is visible in the picture swimming next to the boat.
